Minnesota & Utah

Ready to hike!

We finally made it back home! Well, we made it back exactly a week ago, but it has taken this long to recuperate enough to make a post! The trip went really well, it is very tiring traveling with a 7 week old, but she did great for the most part. Thankfully she slept on all the plane rides and generally seemed to be happy. For the first part of the trip we were in Minnesota. First we had a family wedding, and then we drove five hours north to the family cabin in northern Minnesota. It was absolutely beautiful up there, and we had so much fun relaxing and exploring with family. Some of our activities included hikes, riding the four wheeler, and we went on a 15 mile canoe ride down the Big Fork River. We were in Minnesota for six days.

We stopped for a quick lunch.

The cutest little girls Elle and Emma!

The next phase of our trip was Salt Lake City. We flew in for our friends wedding. Matt and Jeannine were married in one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen! It was at an old historic house in a beautiful park. The wedding was absolutely perfect, and we are so happy to see the two of them married! We spent the rest of the time in Utah hanging with friends for a total of four days. It is so nice to be home now and getting back to normal.

Waiting for the wedding to start

The happy couple

I love the picture of you guys laying on the leaves. Look at you, only seven weeks out and hiking, canoing, your a champ. You have recovered quickly. What a cute little family you have.
