San Diego County Fair

Yesterday we went to the fair, we hadn't been in a while and we did all the necessary fair activities. We saw some farm animals, ate fried food, saw some strong men lift 800lbs, walked around vendor booths, and saw a really good switchfoot concert. We also did something we had never done before...had our pictures taken in a photo booth. I feel like taking your pictures in a photo booth is a very couple type thing to do, it sort of solidifies your relationship. So just in case the rings on our fingers, and the baby in my belly didn't do it, than this definitely did...it's official, we're a couple...he he.

Utah Trip

This last week we took a trip to Utah to visit some friends. We spent most of the time in Salt Lake, with a couple of trips outside the city. It was a lot of fun, and the weather cooperated for the most part.

First night in Salt Lake City.

We went to Park City for a day and explored the Olympic Center, had a picnic near a ski resort, and walked around Main Street.

Frolicking in Park City

Matt & Jeannine...too cute.

We went to a Minor League baseball game one night, the Salt Lake City Bees! We got great seats for $5.00, and it was really fun! Minor League baseball games are way different from the Major Leagues. The players seem to take more risks, and definitely make more mistakes!

One day we played Frisbee Golf at the University of Utah, I had never played before, and it is actually really fun. We played 18 holes, and I thought it was pretty good exercise. Shauna found a new hidden talent, she beat most of us!

After Frisbee Golf the girls went to a really cute Tea House, and shopped at some of the boutique stores, while the boys went long boarding through the city.

Overall it was a great trip, very fun and relaxing! We got to catch up with friends, and take one last mini get-away before I started my third trimester! Now we need to focus on baby things I think the next two and a half months are going to go by fast!

Sneak Peak

I did a maternity photo shoot with my good friend from high school, Kali, on Wednesday. She is an amazing photographer and we had so much fun! She posted a sneak peak from the shoot on her blog already. I absolutely love the picture and I can't wait to see the rest!

Check it out here!

Growing...

We have been growing a lot around here lately, starting with an orchard that Jordan planted a couple months back. He planted 11 fruit trees and has plans for many more, we have apples, nectarines, apricots, cherries, almonds, and lots more that I can't quite remember. They are doing really well, and starting to produce fruit!

Jordan also was working on planting a garden, he had this whole plot of land nicely tilled, and then got crazy busy and totally ran out of time and was never able to put up a fence or plant anything. So I decided to do my life long goal of having a pumpkin patch, (I couldn't let the soil go to waste). So I planted big pumpkins, small pumpkins, jack-o-lantern pumpkins, and gourds. Thanks to Gayle for the seeds! Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year, and I can't wait to have pumpkins for decorations. Jordan was not too fond of my pumpkin patch idea, he thinks things should be planted for functional purposes. So I promised to bake pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread, so they aren't completely useless.
Just sprouting!

There has also been a lot of growing in the belly department, it's crazy how big I am getting. We don't have a full length mirror anywhere in our house (which does make picking out outfits a little tricky) so when I see a picture of myself I am a little blown away.
26 Weeks!
