I was completely spoiled on my birthday this year. My family all pitched in a bought me a new snazzy lens for my camera. It is a 55-250mm, f/4-5.6 and I am in LOVE with it! I have only messed around with it a couple times, and here are some of the pictures I have come up with...

Clara also turned 8 months old yesterday!
She is just starting to cut two bottom teeth, and so far it doesn't seem to be bothering her. I am happy to say that her sleeping is completely under control, and napping...thankfully! She is such a great sleeper and it makes her such a happy baby. I partially have the book "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby," to thank for that. There is a funny section in the book that I totally relate to though, " Ironically through the first few nights of our "training program" I continued to get up every two hours, waiting for her to cry.
I now also have learned how to sleep through the night once again, and I feel
so much better..." Now that I have Clara sleeping through the night, I need to remember how to do it as well. I constantly have these dreams that I am playing with Clara in our bed and she falls over, so I reach down to pick her up, but I can't find her, and I tear through the sheets and push Jordan over trying to frantically find her, it's so annoying, and I drive Jordan crazy. Lately, I keep sitting up in bed for long periods, and in my mind I am trying REALLY hard to keep myself awake to watch Clara, until Jordan tells me to go to sleep, or I realize that she isn't in the room with us. I don't know why I keep doing this, she never sleeps with us, and she isn't even in our room anymore. Motherhood makes you do some pretty interesting things!
